He even bragged about voting not just once, but twice for Obama. Election after electrion, Dershowitz insisted on pretending to keep his blinders on in some perverse combination of obstinacy, one-upsmanship, and pure idiocy. The most crazy part is that the Democrats had already turned against him bigtime, picking apart every one of the footnotes in his publications, hoping to be able to find one iota out of place in a footnote so they might be able to trump up an accusation of plagiarism. The Left was out to get him because he is a smart Zionist, who explained to the world chapter and verse on the rectitude of Israel. The Left wanted to punish him for writing The Case For Israel and speaking articulately and factually about Israel. Why he covered his ears when his friends were explaining to him that it was time to exit a party which had become something evil, is something perhaps a psychotherapist might be able to explain.
