"Was Hitler a Christian?"
The Renaissance of Men ^ | 09/06/24 | Will Spencer

Posted on 09/07/2024 5:16:23 AM PDT by Olympiad Fisherman

Will Spencer of the "Renaissance of Men" interviews Dr. R. Mark Musser on his book entitled, "Nazi Ecology: The Oak Sacrifice of the Judeo-Christian Worldview in the Holocaust" which demonstrates the essential pagan worldview of National Socialism and how its racist Social Darwinism was co-mingled with ecology since it cannot be separated from biology that played no small role in the Shoah.

You seem to have a contentious spirit. Why would anyone waste time with you?

Don't respond to me again, and I won't respond to you.

IF you mean by force....no. There are no commands to force someone to become a believer.

The way I read it, that's exactly what he's saying. And it's not like anyone can force another to believe. Nor do humans have the ability to regenerate someone else's spirit.

Some churches and religions have a history of forcing *conversion* to their RELIGION under pain of death, but that is not true conversion because the heart, mind, and soul have not been redeemed by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.

It's just jumping through the hoops for self-preservation.

So GOD works in that person to bring them to faith in Christ. Our responsibility is to present the gospel, teach them, pray for them, and live a life that wins them over.

But no human being can work in a person to convert them. We don't have the power to convert others, to impart spiritual life to another. That's the work of the Holy Spirit.

For context....his full quote.

AMPU: A real believer would not be offended in the least by a suggestion they should turn to Him for conversion.

However, it seems you are offended as the Truth has been presented to you numerous times on this particular thread.

You continue to push a false narrative of a forced conversion to which I think all have denied a forced conversion.

Even using the definition you provided the term conversion can be an accurate one when one becomes a believer in Christ.

You remind me of what Rush used to call the "drive-bys" in referring to the leftwing media.

Like the old gangs in Chicago who would just drive by and shoot up the place and move on leaving mayhem.

All you're doing is "driving by" trying to stir up mayhem.

It was merely for traditional reasons. It is an excerpt from Matthew 1. 23:

Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

This battle cry was used as early as the 4th century AD by the Romans and later by the Byzantines.

The same motto was mainly used by Martin Luther and by the Protestants, although in the Thirty Years War some Catholic generals used it as well, for example Field Marshal Tilly.

In 1861, King William of Prussia made it his motto, and when he became Emperor then years later, it became the inofficial, albeit widely used, national motto.

In World War Two the German army had it on their belt buckles, just as it had in the First, but the SS instead had the slogan „My honor is loyalty“.

The West German army used it until 1962.

It is fascinatingly sad and schadenfreudically funny to see yet another dumb ex rel "Religion Forum" thread soar towards 200 posts in 4 hours, while Mission Statement threads and the Freepathon go ignored.

Christians perversely baited into going at each other for hours about the immutable past, as the thread goes off the rails, while 1.4 billion atheists and 1 billion Muslims can't wait to nuke every last one of you right now and enslave whoever is left.

Go FReeptards go. LOFL.

Sometimes it takes a while to make things clear.

Defending the Gospel is a worthwhile endeavor.....even if it takes 1000 posts to do so.

My Aunt used to say to me about people in my family if I experessed dismay or outrage at their treatment of me or others, “ooh, you don’t know! Jesus may like her better than us. We don’t know!”

That’s Gospel teaching. No judgement

And you had to dick it up

No. It was my original point. Presented in Socratic method. Metmom was the only one paying attention

If I were to preach to you I’d say recognition of humility is a good move

Of course, no rational person thinks Hitler was a Christian. It is worth wondering why the question even arises. It is known in fact that Hitler had Goebbels working on a new “bible” that would cast Hitler as the Messiah. Hitler himself was a “blood and soil” pagan who had only contempt for Christianity.

No where in Christianity does it instruct Christians to make any such judgement. It nowhere instructs us how to do so

Back to the anal retentive tendency...

We are to judge with a righteous judgment, but I didn't judge you.

I observed that you don't act like you understand salvation and that firming that up is a good thing to have salvation.

Simple as that.

A real believer would not be offended by that.

Only you can reconcile that with God. If you are, it is an indication you may not be saved.

That phrase is translated from Hebrew Emmanuel, one of Jesus’ names. Quite the blasphemy on their part.

Are most people “claiming to be Christians” Christian?

Same answer, NO!

Most Christians are like trannies.

They CLAIM to be what they are not.

Just saying/identifying as a Christian doesn’t make you one.

What makes you a Christian is if GOD knows you are one. (and he is all knowing)

Have you repented of your sins?

Have you asked Jesus for forgiveness of these sins?

Have you asked Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior?

Have you accepted Him into your heart?

If you have done these things and really MEANT IT! You are now a child of God, a Christian.

If not, you are just pretending.

Don’t believe me! READ HIS BOOK, the bible.

Satan “took over” when Adam ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. His wife was tempted, but he was not, take note. The phrases “prince of this world” and “god of this world” are references to Satan.
