Love it! Ain’t that a kick in the head?
Special props to Fallout New Vegas!
Just in time for Christmas??
I think I remember getting Dean Martins greatest hits on vinyl 40 years ago.
Back in the day, before the Rat Pack, I would defy anyone to find a woman who didn’t have the biggest crush on Dean Martin. The real “King of Cool”.
He never got over the loss of his son, and became a recluse for the rest of his life.
Dean is a favorite.
fantastic singer. and funny. never missed his tv show as a kid. Dino was a fair actor too, just ask the first Jerry.
They’ll probably auto-tune the songs. I’ve heard many a “re-mastered” song and thought the original sounded a lot better.
And as a side note, I always thought that if I were stranded on a desert island and I could pick only one singer to listen to, I’d pick Judy Collins. But I’ve recently changed my mind. It would be Frank.
I saw Dean Martin live at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles in 1980 at a rally celebrating Ronald Reagan’s birthday—at the start of Reagan’s campaign for the presidency. Martin did his comedy routine portraying a drunk.
Frank Sinatra also appeared and led us all in singing “Happy Birthday.”
Mr Smooth
He’s better than Sinatra. I have both of them on my car audio system.
Dean Martin, a.k.a. Secret Agent Matt Helm.

He’s on my video list of “comfort tunes” in a scene from Rio Bravo, jamming with Rick Nelson and Walter Brennan. What a luscious voice he had!
Vinyl? No thanks!
I was never a Dean Martin fan, Don Martin yes

I have it on a CD and my 17 year old granddaughter loves listening to it in the car.
Everybody loves somebody sometime.
Coming to vinyl?
The original were in vinyl! - I still have them.
What a voice, he was great.
Frank, Dean, Sammy singing, Johnny doing the mc’ing.
Fun show. After Johnny Carson opens, he introduces Dean Martin.
