The Great Apes - specifically, chimpanzees and bonobos - are only found in Africa. Both of those groups have around 99% of human DNA.
In addition, for modern human DNA, there is a clear "Out of Africa" migration that starts around 70,000 years ago in the eastern Mediterranean, in the Fertile Crescent, in the Caucasus region between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, and in the Arabian peninsula.
Obviously, there are still many disputed issues...
Where did Homo Erectus come from?
Same question for Neanderthals and Denisovans?
I am not a religious person, so I have no personal stake to defend in that discussion.
On the other side, why would God deliberately try to deceive humans about their historical origin?
Thanks! Common origins (and/or alleged common origins) doesn't have much to do with it. Thanks to DNA, it's known that these recent but earlier versions (particularly Neandertal) are in the ancestry of living people, yet the fossil forms are not found in Africa (even Africans carry Neandertal DNA). During the past 2 million years, what's now the continental shelf was repeatedly uncovered as the sealevels declined. All other things being equal, conditions are warmer the lower the latitude and/or the altitude. It's a good working hypothesis that while the interiors of continents were covered in ice, our ancestors did a lot of their growing up in areas now submerged.

"The most remarkable aspect of Todaro's discovery emerged when he examined Homo Sapiens for the 'baboon marker'. It was not there... Todaro drew one firm conclusion. 'The ancestors of man did not develop in a geographical area where they would have been in contact with the baboon. I would argue that the data we are presenting imply a non-African origin of man millions of years ago.'"The Scars of EvolutionPrimary Literature by Jonathan Marks
