Yes.

France should have never allied with Russia, if anything, Britain and France should have allied with Germany and Austria-Hungary against Russia.

The French and the Germans hated each other (30 Years War, Napoleonic Wars, Franco-Prussian War, you get the picture). Bismarck’s whole foreign policy was built around staying close to the Russians and keeping France as friendless as possible. Wilhelm II kicked that to the curb — what does that old man know, anyway? — resulting in the Franco-Russian alliance and Germany being forced to cozy up to Austria-Hungary as her only real ally.

France wanted payback for the Franco-Prussian War (which Napoleon III started), including the return of Alscace-Lorraine.

Britain was looking for an excuse to take out the German Navy, which was getting too big for Britain's liking. Britain was determined to maintain global naval supremacy.

The Tsar didn't want war. But Russia was seen as the great protector of Slavs. The Tsar felt he had to defend Serbia to maintain face as a world power, especially after Russia's defeat in the Russo-Japanese War.

Germany was created on the anti French sentiment. Heck Napoleon created Germany by reducing the multiple German states to just q4 and killing off the holy Roman empire.

France would never have allied with Germany.

The UK was tolerant of Germany until Wilhelm 2 decided to challenge the royal navy’s supremacy.

No, the Krauts, Limeys, and Russtards, their leaders being inbred uncle-cousins, should have allied against France.
