Clemson’s 2024 season got off to a horrific start on Saturday, falling in a largely non-competitive matchup with the Georgia Bulldogs. And former NFL wide receiver Roddy White has one explanation for why Clemson perhaps didn’t come out and compete.
Georgia’s offense had very few issues moving the ball at will on Clemson, particularly in the second half of the game. Star quarterback Carson Beck looked as good as advertised, throwing for 278 yards and two touchdowns in the 34-3 victory.
Meanwhile, Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik largely struggled to show much growth in his season debut, throwing for just 142 yards with one interception in the defeat.
Georgia is obviously an excellent team that will make a lot of teams look bad this season. But clearly, this was not the best representation of Clemson’s skills by any means. The game caused White to take to social media to criticize Swinney’s recruiting efforts, claiming that Swinney’s recruiting problem is that he has “too many white dudes” on offense.
“Clemson got way too many white dudes on the field on offense this ain’t them,” wrote White on X. “U mean to tell me u only got one black dude out there making plays? That’s a recruiting problem.”

Wasn't it Jimmy the Greek that was banned because he said blacks do better in hot weather because of breeding?
A linguistics lesson from Wakanda.
The Boston Celtics used to get the same criticism back when Larry Bird was playing.
Bird was the Caitlin Clark of his day.
Personally, I’m fed up with the constant whining of blacks.
Maybe they recruited players that are taking actual courses and can read and write and spell.
The problem with Clemson is not too many white players it’s the coach that refuses to recruit the portal.
Outside of the military academies, Clemson is the only school in D-1 football that doesn’t start a transfer player.
The going rate now for a top 5 team is an NIL budget of 15-20 million per year, teams that don’t step up will get left behind and Clemson is one of those.
Lol. Yeah, Clemson needs to get back to putting players like Trevor Lawrence and Hunter Renfro on the field. The way that Georgia thumped them with Carson Beck, Cash Jones, and London Humphreys makes it obvious that Clemson signs too many lunch pailers. Lol.

May be so but don't forget how the black population originally
got started into use in the USA.
It is a national industry. I have been watching the US Open, unfortunately the only coverage is on ESPN. During a commercial break, they had six straight commercials with all black actors.
It's all in the name of being "woke" in order to address the age old trope of "not enough blacks on TV". You see the same thing happening in news, movies and TV shows as well. As if that will resolve the issues of fatherless homes and rampant crime in "communities of color". Somehow, by putting non-whites in the overwhelming majority of commercials the self-esteem of the people in the "underrepresented communities" will be lifted.
Judging by the representation presented in commercials, one would think that 85% of the US population is black and the other 15% are alphabet/rainbow club members. White men are shown as the clueless buffoons who need a woman or a "POC" (sometimes both) to save them from their own lack of awareness. If you have to look to the fake world of TV to get a sense of self-validation, you have deeper issues that woke hollywood cannot solve for you.
Take the spending power of white hetero men out of the economy and it will collapse in spectacular fashion.
a lot of black media celebrities are fragile plus they get points for saying outrageously controversial jibber jabber
**May be so but don’t forget how the black population originally

The USA didn’t exist when blacks were first brought to North America.
The European kingdoms were the players that brought them here. And that would have been hard to do if the African tribes had been unified and fought anyone that came there looking for slaves.
Do you mean Anthony Johnson, a black man, sued in Virginia to enslave John Casor, a black man, thereby starting black slavery in the colonies??
Little hint for ya, the Irish were the first slaves in the colonies and they don’t use such excuses to justify poor performance.
The NFL is okay with having racist hatemongers play on its teams.
It’s whining that will never, ever end.
“Personally, I’m fed up with the constant whining of blacks.”
Exactly the reason I no longer bother supporting my Alma Mater due to their spineless handling of the whole BLM and kneeling issue in 2020-21. The coach knuckled under to one whiner about a logo T-shirt he wore on a personal fishing trip with his family. As I wrote, simply spineless.
Real hard, especially since white traders simply bought the slaves from other blacks tribes. Rival tribes were the ones who captured the slaves for sale in the first place.
Personally, I’m fed up with the constant whining of blacks.

May be so but they aren’t the basics that was the subject of the
civil war back in the 1860s. It was the white slave owners who
wanted to keep the black as slaves.
The USA today is still allowing the foreign people into the USA
The inhabitants of this country today should be taking a stand
against the illegals coming in today and making an effort to get
a system established to where we aren’t being over run by them.
JMO yours may vary as is your right.
The only reason they put all those minorities in TV commercials is to piss off White people and create racial division.
It wasn’t like that before Trump. The same way nobody was screaming about misinformation and there was no fact-checking before Trump.
The Populist movement is a threat to the ruling class. And they are reacting in all sorts of both blatant and subtle ways. And always in unison with each other.
I am damn sick of it too. Everything is there now for the asking. Just do the work.
