Your original post brought to mind something that happened some months back. I watch vids on YT on a lot of different topics: crafts, crocheting, knitting, sewing, cooking/recipes, old movies/tv & radio shows, conservative commentaries, and many more. I cannot recall what kind of vid I was watching at the time, but I know it wasn't on crochet because right in the middle it switched to a crocheting scene. I thought it was very weird, but it hasn't happened to me again so I didn't think any more about it.

I don't have ROKU, either. I do have Brave as my laptop browser with a built-in ad blocker. I haven't seen an ad on YT in years! So it wasn't an ad like the answers to that forum question seemed to imply. (I only read a few of the answers.)

I just thought you might have a link to a YT vid with a Chinese scene in it, so I could look at it.

I do have ROKU and have never seen this happen. I wonder if it’s because I’m in Canada.
