My niece lives in Asheville, and was out of touch with the family since the night of the hurricane. A nephew from another sister had a friend that lived in Asheville, happened to live just a couple of miles away, so he rode his motorcycle to her place and checked on her. She has no power, no phone service, but she’s doing Ok.
Helps to have extended family. My sister and my niece’s daughter were both very relieved with the news.
A cousin’s family also lives in the area. They had to cut a path down their own driveway, only to find that the street was blocked by downed trees in both directions. Still, people are starting to dig out slowly.
Thanks for that info. Sis may not be able to reply for a while.
Thanks for posting that! I saw on TS but no link.
Kerry the traitor certainly revealed two things:
1. They are scared
2. The extent of their evil plans re: free speech.
Cell phone service is almost non-existent. Duke Energy’s power outage map shows probably about 75% of Asheville is in the dark. Might be a little less, but there are definitely a lot of people in the dark there.
And if a lot of trees are down, then that adds a lot of time to getting lights back. They have to clear the road and lines before they can rebuild and put the lights on.
TVA, energy provider in Tennessee and a little snippet of rural North Carolina (and my employer for a few more months), had been unable to get line crews into some of the areas in NC and northeast TN due to roads and bridges being out from the flooding. They are using helicopters to access some of their transmission lines. It’s pretty messy up there.
A good source for weather related things, and one to follow concerning the mess up in NE Tennessee and western NC is Ryan Hall, Y’all on X. @ryanhallyall is his twitter name.

Good she knows a lot of people.
Thanks for posting Rita.
That version of Amazing Grace brought tears to my eyes. Just God honoring all the way. I felt the power of victorious angels overcoming all evil....

Maybe there is already a 28th amendment. I guess they want to activate it? Sorry for my ignorance. It’s a new continuity of government plan.
Re PDJT posts St. Michael prayer:
Maybe because today is the feast of The Archangels?
I hope he’s not in extra danger!
Prayers up!
Horrific.

Lawmakers Prepare for ‘Mass Casualty’ Event, Push Constitutional Amendment to Undermine Election Integrity and Control House Vacancies in a ‘National Crisis’
As political tensions rise in the U.S., Congress is preparing for the possibility of a major “mass casualty event” that could dramatically change its makeup.
With recent assassination attempts and increasingly heated public discourse, lawmakers are considering drastic steps, including a possible Constitutional Amendment that would allow for the direct appointment of House representatives in the event of mass vacancies.
