Not for me, but I suppose just more one step since people started putting ranch dressing on pizza.

Nope. Pizza can have extra mozzarella, extra sauce, or be requested browned (baked to darker crust and cheese), but that's it. No toppings at all. Anything else is just culinary clutter, each detracting from what's perfect as is.

There is also nothing to be done to Captain Crunch. No crunchberries, peanutbutter, etc..... Ice cream may have one flavor companion. Peaches, strawberries, pecans, etc.... No moose tracks mocha cappuccino weasel crunch.

Call me crazy. Same with booze. Neat or on rocks. Twist or olive. No microbrewery grapefruit beers either. Simple is best. Straight forward and tasty.

You mean the 80s? Cause right after Pizza Hut added a salad people started putting ranch on their pizza in public. We’ll never know how long in private.
