Florida State Seminoles fans are known for their football team, but they're also known for their ability to party.
So when they arrived in Dublin, Ireland for a 'Week 0' football game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, they brought that party with them from Tallahassee.
Multiple tweets from fans at the stadium report that the Florida State fans drank the Aviva Stadium out of beer - or at least on their half of the stadium.

Before the game, all of the talking heads said FSU would win. Pat McAfee said the Noles would win by a lot. Some guy named Seamus said he was rooting for the underdog.
Anyways, it looked like older fans at the game.
I thought younger kids these days are more into pot than booze, booze is for the older folks.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't GT sport the color green in their unis? May have something to do with it. Who was the "home" team?
It's an outright admission they know they won't recover lost fans in the United States.
It was such a nice win, we watched a commercial free version last night. I might watch that game several more times just to celebrate the Tech win AND the Criminole loss. Can you imagine the fans trip home? They might connect through Atlanta.

Tech colors are white, gold, navy, though Buzzy is black and gold.
The NBA must be doing something right, because on my recent trip to Europe, there were people wearing NBA Jerseys everywhere, and they weren’t Americans.

European soccer leagues are now broadcasting to the US. The Premier League for years now. Bundesliga and La Liga are on my cable streaming service for free now also.
NFL playing games in other countries, etc.

Thanks. Hubby graduated from Tech. So this was a wonderful wonderful way to start off the college football season for us. We have to keep the tv down so I don’t hear the disgusting fight song from FSWho the whole time. It makes me ill to listen to it.
I’m a proud Alumni of FSU and spent many happy hours in drunken revelry at the games during my four years. 🍺
Even worse is the mass constipation moan they do that’s supposed to a chant. Really, you’d think a bout of mass constipation had broken out in the stadium.

I think we’re talking about the same thing. It’s not a fight song, it is a chant. It is a mass constipation moan. Disgusting.
And when you graduated, you could use your diploma to park in any handicapped spot in the country!
