1:32 · significant scenes that wasn't blurred
1:35 · out just the amount of open Factory
1:38 · floor space there still is in the blue
1:41 · origin facility in spite of the fact
1:44 · that they should be churning out lots
1:46 · and lots of rockets by this time
1:49 · incidentally this particular image is a
1:51 · lot older than the one you were just
1:53 · looking at and we have a lot of other
1:56 · indications to suggest that a launch of
2:00 · new Glenn is indeed imminent this is the
2:03 · blue origin recovery ship for the
2:06 · primary booster it's actually sailing
2:08 · from France from the port of breast
2:11 · interestingly enough this isn't
2:13 · something that blue origin advertised by
2:16 · the way it's something that a sharp eyed
2:18 · Observer noticed and posted on X blue
2:21 · origin would never publicly talk about
2:25 · these sorts of things given how
2:26 · secretive this organization is and one
2:29 · of reasons that I'm so critical about
2:32 · this philosophy is not because they're
2:34 · trying to hide their technology they
2:36 · should try to hide their technology but
2:39 · the fact of the matter is they have now
2:42 · billions and billions of taxpayer
2:45 · dollars in their pockets for the hls
2:48 · project for Artemis not for some sort of
2:51 · secretive military mission that being
2:54 · the case then blue origin should be
2:57 · sharing a fair amount of information

3:04 · participants are doing such as Boeing
3:07 · and SLS as bad as they are we've seen a
3:11 · lot more transparency from Boeing

3:16 · oig had to say about them as opposed to
3:19 · Blue origin who seems to have been oig
3:23 · bulletproof in spite of these recent
3:26 · incidents in fact I have to wonder

4:05 · from Blue origin insiders and I'm just

4:18 · the long awaited centerpiece of the Jeff
4:21 · Bezos back startups push to take on

4:32 · a storage hanger according to people
4:34 · familiar with the situation in a

4:48 · once again we can't say for certain we
4:50 · have nothing official repairs are
4:52 · underway and there were no injuries

4:59 · hurdles blue origin is grappling with
5:02 · while ramping up production of new Glenn
5:04 · which is 4 years overdue at the same

5:12 · shake the company out of a yearslong R&D
5:16 · slump blue origin is rushing to meet a
5:19 · tight deadline to debut the rocket in
5:21 · October for a NASA mission called

5:26 · roughly 2 months from now because at
5:29 · that time Mars will be close enough to
5:31 · Earth and just to put in my own addition
5:34 · there yes that conjunction is very
5:37 · important and we won't have another
5:39 · opportunity to launch Escapade for
5:41 · another 2 years which will essentially
5:44 · lead to a failure of the mission overall
5:46 · if new Glenn cannot pull this off it is

5:56 · second and third flights of the new

8:59 · billions of taxpayer dollarss are being

9:05 · we're talking about these types of
9:07 · programs yes I totally understand

9:13 · but for a company that recently received
9:15 · a multi-billion doll project to put
9:18 · human beings on the surface of the Moon
9:20 · for the first time in over 50 years we
9:23 · need the same level of transparency with
9:26 · this company and at least with this
9:28 · particular program as we have with
9:31 · Boeing and SLS no I don't want them to
9:35 · run their company the same way that
9:36 · Boeing does but I would like them to be
9:39 · just as available to the NASA office of
9:42 · Inspector General to determine where
9:44 · they are in the process and whether or
9:46 · not they might be able to fill in for
9:49 · SpaceX in in case lunar Starship takes a
9:52 · bit longer to develop than people are
9:55 · anticipating indeed it seems that lunar
9:57 · Starship is definitely heading in that

10:03 · that blue origin is content to be as
10:06 · opaque as they have ever been and NASA
