I understand the difference they are highlighting. But I also understand that doctors / scientists don't "know" what cancer is yet. They can't possibly target what they can't identify. They are not targeting "cancer" cells; they are targeting cells exhibiting certain traits. Chemotherapy does the same thing. Chemotherapy targets cells that have a rapid growing trait. Sure it catches cancer cells. But it also catches red blood cells, white blood cells, epithelial cells, mucous generating cells, etc -- which is why chemotherapy will kill you eventually 100% of the time when used in perpetuity. What traits are these mRNA drugs targeting? Do other needed cells possess these same traits? If the mRNA drug causes your body to create cells that kill off cells you require in perpetuity ... you will have a fatal autoimmune disease. And dying of an autoimmune disorder can be agonizing. I would not sign up to be a willing participant in any such clinical trial ever no matter how dire my case.
