The Cullinan Diamond was cut into nine stones before 1910.
All the stones eventually became part of the British Crown Jewels.
The photo you posted does not look like pre-1910 photography.

I once had shares in a speculative mining venture at the site of the Morokweng Crater in South Africa. The Geologist at the head of the team decided not to go ahead. I’m thinking what a perfect location for a diamond mine.

Well,its interesting that its a CAnadian company that owns the BOtswana diamond mind, they have foound 3 giant diamonds altgether, one selling for 63 million in the rough.
Justin TRudeau has driven Canadian mineral exploreres out of Canadas North using environmental regulation warfare and the Natives...can’t have these upstart geologists getting rich!
So they exploration companies from Canada are now working world wide while the Trudeau feds make sure ZILCH can happen here at home.
