Remember when Ford made vehicles that people wanted to buy? Explorer Sports and Sport Tracs, Escorts, Tauruses (especially for fleets), Crown Vics (great cop cars), etc. are all gone.
Today - other than pickups, what exactly do you make that people want, Ford?

EVs should be small/medium sized urban vehicles for now. As they increase in size they lose any advantage over ICE vehicles. Larger vehicles might do well as hybrids.

Whomever was pushing the EV thing at Ford should have long sense been terminated, and that includes members of the Board that approved the idiocy. The purpose of The Ford Motor Company is to produce profits for the owners (shareholders), nothing more. All the other “feel good” stuff is just a deterrent and drain on that purpose.
