Near-Death Experiences As Proof of a God

I've been a fan of watching YouTube accounts of Near Death Experiences lately. There are certain common elements:

• Leaving your physical body and observing people operating on them. In some cases, people were able to leave that location and see other people and places. One young lady left the operating room, travelling through walls, and went to find her father in the hospital.
• There is, of course, the tunnel you travel through and the bright light at the end of it.
• There, TO A PERSON, they describe a Life Review of all your significant actions, but not from your perspective, but how the OTHER person experienced it. Your best and your worst actions are all covered. Incredible peace and joy. Living forever in that doesn't sound so bad.
• In some cases, they describe vastly increased sensory perception. Vision beyond anything we can experience. Sound unlike anything we currently can hear, although all communication with other entities is telepathic.
• Most examples detail Entities that some describe as 'angels' and others describe as 'guides'. In many of the cases, they are reuniting with deceased relatives, including some that the subject doesn't even know... ancestors such as great-great-great grandparents.
• Since these individuals 'come back', they are given either the choice to decide to come back or to stay, or they are directed to, and in some cases, given a laundry list of things they are to accomplish. One example was striking; she was given a glimpse into her future that actually manifested. The primary lesson from the Near Death Experience was that only the love you gave others (including to animals) was important to the entities on the other side. One major entity, most desribed as 'God'. It was the single most powerful, loving, non-judgemental entity of the entire group.
• In some examples of NDE's, they were informed that we are sent back time and time again, to other lifetimes, to live and learn new lessons.

Various neuroscientists have stated that simple biological processes of death produce these effects. Maybe the tunnel and the light can be explained by this, but the rest? No way. I cannot think that mere biological processes could manifest such a detailed series of accounts. Nor is there any evolutionary benefit to these processes, obviously... you are dead, right? Evolution is highly unlikely to be a factor here.

So this, to me, seems like quasi-scientific proof of a God. Now, religions have added all sorts of nonsense around these concepts, since almost to a person, the subject of an NDE describes a God that is utterly nonjudgemental and loving. So, take the 10 Commandments: Seems like the 10 Commandments were written to make OUR lives better, and it is not some cosmic scorecard that God is judging us on.

One person I know personally that had an NDE, would not talk a lot about it, but the one thing he did relate is that 'all the nonsense religion spouts? The beings on the other side, they don't care. Just be loving.'

And that aligns with what Jesus said: To love God with all your heart, and to love your fellow man.

He sure does appear to some that way- which is why I suspect highly thst some people who have nde’s are seeing not God, but Satan or demons disguised as light/god- I also believe that the “light at the end of the tunnel” they experience is a psychological issue common to people who are in the process of dying (not all, but some folks) as the brain fights to keep alive- its Lso possible that it is a defensive mechanism to help with passing on that is common all over the world.

Not all nde’s can be explained this way, but I think perhaps a great many can be. But the fact remains that it is “real” to the person who experiences it, and it can profoundly change a person, BUT it can also keep unsaved people in darkness, thinking that they have an in with God and that they don’t have to accept Jesus as savior because they are special because of the exp3rience that they had “with a being of light”

I had a NDE following bypass surgery. I was experiencing rapid heartbeat and they were trying to calm it down with drugs. Well they did. They forgot about me and heartbeat went to 0. I remember the world fading away much like a TV screen’s horizontal hold going haywire and it was white, not dark. Perhaps I wasn’t gone long enough to experience the other stuff or the fade into whatever permanent death is. Once the alarms went off at the nurses station they pulled the IV and luckily my heart restarted on its own. My guess it lasted less than a minute.

“God isn’t giving tours of Heaven. You are to die once.”

Totally untrue. I know you are referring to Hebrews 9:27, but that is a total mistranslation. I’ve researched it to the nth degree as I accept the Bible as the truth and my perceived reality differed from the common interpretation.

If I take a short step beyond the conception memory stored in a person’s soul, I am in their stored memory of the death experience in their last life. It’s there and physical.

As I go further from them, all the stored memories of that life are there in reverse sequence to the previous life conception.

Like growth ring on a tree, every life a soul ever lived on earth is right there in reverse sequence.

I’ve been as far as 300 ft from a person and when I touched the stored memory of a mother dying in childbirth, she doubled over, grabbed her stomach and fell to her knees.

Often I will have a person close their eyes and think of their phobia. I then put my hand up and walk through their soul. When my hand touches the original stored memory that created the phobia, it pushes their body. Often these stored memories that I refer to as perceptual programming events are stored in past life rings far from their physical body.

This is very easy to demonstrate.

I recently (April 2024) did a presentation for a small group and a woman came forward who had abdominal pain. She was in her mid 50’s.

I told her the cause was very private and I should not share it in front of others, but she insisted.

I told her that she had an abortion when she was just under twenty years old and there were many complications. The stored memory of the event is still stored in her soul and attached to her stomach. That is manifesting her physical pain.

She confirmed the abortion at age 19 and stated that she ended up in the hospital and almost died. It only took a few minutes to remove the traumatic stored memory in her soul with some forgiveness work and prayer. Her pain was gone instantly.

Yes, true also- I think it may be because of a defensive mechanism in the brain that causes the brain. To stop processing pain, trauma, disease etc and which funnels the remaining concentration into pleasant thoughts to aid in the comfort during the process of dying- perhaps a final act of grace by God to undeserving humankind. If true, this might explain the common experiences. There might be other reasons or different reasons, but just like there is a “Universal Moral Code” written on everyone’s heart, perhaps there is a “Universal Protection Process” that aids folks as they are dying-

We were created in God’s Image. God is consciousness and so are we.

We are just seeds of consciousness planted here in the darkness of the earth in these seed pod bodies to sprout and grow, transcending these bodies in our awareness as our souls grow.

Read the end of Matthew 13 where the disciples ask Jesus to explain the parable of the tares or weeds in the wheat field.

Gangs like hells angels, ms-13, and myriad other violent criminals gangs all over the world, and despotic tyrants etc who do not repent will face God’s wrath and eternal punishment. The Bible makes that clear-

Somehow, that just doesn't gel for me. How would such a morse code come into being? Cannot be evolution, since you are dying anyways, and will have no chance to pass this advantage on. What mechanism plants this in us?

And the myriad experiences many people report... if this was just neurons firing while you passed on, what of the commonality of experiences, such as the very-common life review? The discussions with various entities? To me, just dying neurons wouldn't author such intense activities, it seems they would just fade to black.

I note you had a horrible experience in your NDE. I would offer this: The memories of this spiritual event still are stored in biological matter, which you tell me you were poisoned and in severe fever. Could it be your memories were compromised by these factors?

This is all above my pay grade. It's all speculation. I suppose we can meet later, after we both die, and I can do a Victory Dance and rub it in your face that I was right. 😁

Death is not graduation. For most it is merely a semester break between lessons for the soul to learn and grow.

Transcendence is graduation. It is the being “Born Again” of the soul where you begin to perceive directly with your consciousness beyond your physical body. Only then can you go to the Second Heaven.

I call the base layer of Heaven the “Recycling Level of Heaven” as it is where souls go between lives.

Like Paul describes in Acts, I have gone to the higher levels. The Love and Light of God is even stronger than the Bliss experienced when a person enters the lower Heaven as they exit the tunnel.

When you look at NDEs, many contradict each other and contradict the Bible. I read once about a lady who worked with sick children, and many had NDEs. She reported that Catholic children often mentioned seeing the Virgin Mary during their NDEs, while Protestant children almost never mentioned seeing her. That leads me to believe that people see what they expect to see during NDEs.

Still, I’d like to believe there’s something to it. I had a brief out-of-body experience as a child which leads me to believe that we do have a soul that can exist outside our bodies, and that soul is “the real us,” while our bodies are merely shells.
