In Medicare posts please indicate which part you are referring to—I am guessing you signed up for Part B—but if that is not correct please say so.

Part D is a separate issue not included in Medicare. Congratulations on reaching retirement.

Right. My wife is on my plan as a dependent under 65. Now she turns 65 and we are saddled with an extra $174/month for the same insurance we have now. The extra premium is the only thing that has changed.
