...he has been sitting on his butt and let the Dems get ahead of him.
IF Trump loses, or if the Dems repeat the Cheat, Trumps biggest mistake in this campaign will have been self-inflicted. That wound was created when he said he would debate Biden anywhere anytime. When Biden foolishly took the bait, Trump was forced to agree. He allowed this debate to take place way too early, prior to the conventions and the nominations. Has any Presidential elections ever had debated before the candidates were officially nominated? Not that I recall. It was this debate, and the performance, or lack thereof, of Joe Biden that sealed his fate and opened the door for the Dems to give Biden the Torricelli treatment.
Having said that, I think the American People can not possibly by stupid enough to make this election close enough that the Democrat cheat could succeed.
Biden was dumped because his polling numbers were awful — and they were awful for months before that stupid debate. He would have been dumped before the convention regardless of what happened.
Remember that the media had already started broadcasting clips that were showing how decrepit the guy was. The incident at the Normandy event was three weeks before the debate, and it was an obvious turning point for the media because they never would have covered it that way before 2024.
We The People saw the man behind the curtain in all his broken mental glory, saw "our democracy" to be the political power and control structure of the Dems we all knew it was and now we get to see the media's blatant manipulation of events to fast track Harris/Walz under the glaring spotlights.
It's like with the lock down. Parents got to actually see what was happening behind their backs with the kids.
Having said that, I think the American People can not possibly by stupid enough to make this election close enough that the Democrat cheat could succeed.
On that, we agree. It will only be more so after the forthcoming debates.
