The challenge for Trump is he built a campaign to take on Biden, and now has to recalibrate take on Harris.
That takes time, but it can and will be done.
It does likely need a different crew of people so expect some people to be shifted out of their jobs.
I like JD. But its unlikely Trump would have chose him if he knew that he was running against Kamala.
So Trump needs to continue to have JD answer questions from media. It'll point out that Kamala is being "handled" just like Biden. So we'll have to prove to the American People that Kamala is unfit for the job to become the POTUS.
I wonder if they know Plugs Biden didn’t stand a chance and then pulled the old bait and switch on Trump.
The issue facing the campaign is that for months and months the easy (and successful) tack was beating up on Joe Biden. It took little effort: Biden was in self-destruct mode.
While doing this, an effort also should have been putting together a positive message. The reason Harris has been doing so well is that without much substance she’s preaching hope and joy, and as corny as that is, most Americans WANT to feel hopeful.
When the sole line of attack is to call America a Third World country and a banana republic, it is a downer that turns off many voters to the entire process.
The Republican party needs a Reagan leading it today. I hope our nominee can become that.
Trump needs savages around him who realize we are in a knife fight in a phone booth. Trump himself needs to find a message and stay on it.
