Exactly. That was a classic example of fighting a defensive war and then choosing the correct moment when the enemy is weak to go on offense.

Again, if that's what Ukraine has done here, then more power to them for their strategy.

Yeah, but I think I've read that the Carthaginians were suffering a shortage of something the Russians have in quantity - might have been morozhenoe, or vodka, or maybe it was nuclear weapons...
