A good friend of mine, now late of this world , was an artillery sergeant in Vietnam stationed at some firebase near a place called An Khe. He said sometimes at night he and his squad would hear ''noises'' in the jungle. He said they were like loud grunts and hollering. Not human voices. Then in the morning they find tree branches and other stuff all torn up and large footprints in the dirt.
