There is a series on AMC+, “Snowpiercer”, about a post-apocalyptic future where the earth is in the grips of another Ice Age, and the remnants of the human race are aboard some supertrain with tracks that circle the entire world. Never mind the dubious science involved, or the enormity of the task of constructing the necessary infrastructure to assure the supertrain would be able to function for years if necessary, the division of the assigned positions on board the train are organized along the lines of the train crew, and the various ranks of the passengers.
