Golden age of golf coincided with golden age of America...Palmer, Nicklaus, Player, Trevino, Snead, Rodriguez et al. Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf captured a lot of it. I have a hard time naming any contemporary golfers other than Woods and he is past his prime.
Same here. Few of the current bunch have any personality beyond what they are coached to say or do. Also, aside from Woods, these guys played in an era where the payouts were not astronomical.
