I have thousands of songs on my iTunes, but I seldom listen to them because of my other options like SiriusXM and Apple Music. I thought iTunes was on the way out. It might become unsupported. Are there any alternatives where I could switch my iTunes library?

TIA for any suggestions. I am naïve in this area.

If you subscribe to Apple Music (about $10 a month), your iTunes library will get uploaded to the Apple cloud.

I have several thousand songs I recorded off radio shows and other sources that are not available in the iTunes library but they all uploaded successfully so I have some backup with regard to that.

That’s very interesting. I have no idea if iTunes is being phased out. As long as I have these MP3 and MP4 files and an iPod where I can store them, I hope they last forever!
