Tyler and Perry first met in the summer of 1966 while Perry was working part-time at a hamburger restaurant (anchorage?) on the harbor in Sunapee, New Hampshire.

1969: Chain Reaction and the Jam Band with Joe Perry both play gigs at Sunapee, NH's "The Barn". Tyler witnesses the Jam Band playing Fleetwood Mac's "Rattlesnake Shake"

You are correct. He grew up in Yonkers. Moved to NH in the late 1960s. Met Perry and they formed the band. He has lived on lake Sunapee since.

The Anchorage is still there. A small place right on Sunapee Harbor. Not sure where “The Barn” is. It may not be there anymore.

The only barn I know is “The Wobbly Barn” at the base of Killington, VT. Right down the access road from “The Pickle Barrel”. Another famous gin mill where drunken skiers hang out.
