You are correct. He grew up in Yonkers. Moved to NH in the late 1960s. Met Perry and they formed the band. He has lived on lake Sunapee since.
The Anchorage is still there. A small place right on Sunapee Harbor. Not sure where “The Barn” is. It may not be there anymore.
The only barn I know is “The Wobbly Barn” at the base of Killington, VT. Right down the access road from “The Pickle Barrel”. Another famous gin mill where drunken skiers hang out.
Been there. And the closest I've got to Lake Sunapee is lunch at The Red Rooster in Woodstock VT.
