It has come to light that the Secret Service’s handling of urgent security information on the day of the attack on President Donald Trump was disastrously inadequate.
According to The Washington Post, crucial messages about the imminent threat posed by Crooks were not properly relayed to the Secret Service, leading to a deadly game of telephone tag that ultimately failed to prevent the attack.
On her show, Laura Ingraham highlighted the chaotic communication breakdowns that occurred in Butler, Pennsylvania. Local commanders were forced to use cell phones to call state troopers, who then relayed messages to the Secret Service, resulting in critical delays.
This ineffective chain of communication happened three times that fateful afternoon, including a crucial moment at 5:42 PM when a local counter-sniper radioed about a young white male lurking near the AGR building, only to lose sight of him shortly after…

Correct, they bring their own mini cell tower comms with them. Think mobile can with cell imulator or several providing a mini net for comms on site.
They did. The FBI did. Joe and Jill did too. NSA has it all.
Agreed SS goes international so they must have sat comms down to an art form. Iridium almost for certain the only reason Iridium survived is the U.S. Gov bought huge chunks of spectrum and dedicated access worldwide for secure comms. They also would use the Milstar network when airborne having ground PRC terminals that link to it is a no brainer, same for UHF tactical be it MOUS or legacy the Marines use both and since they do outer security work internationally SS would need to link to them on the regular as well. All the equipment is in house bank on it. The DEI hooker running the show failed big time or she was told to stand down and obeyed.
What are the odds?
Quite in the negative I would imagine.
“she was told to stand down and obeyed”
That is my view.
Someone needs to audit the SS books.
Did they not have the funding required ?
Did they have the funding but did not spend it updating their technical equipment?
If request for funding denied? Who? When?
What committee overseas the SS?
When was the last hearing before the assassination attempt?

All good questions. But even the most basic questions remain unanswered. Like, “did you guys perform a comms check?”. What were the results? This looks like willful negligence. You have an asset (Butler PD) and you cannot communicate with them? Not buying this at all.
There. Fixed it!
Internet cell service was down? What about regular cell service? What about radio?
Don’t tell me that they didn’t all have a common radio system and channel with which to communicate. There’s only 1 reason to NOT have secure, redundant communications. And I think we all know what that reason is.
Hint - it’s the same reason that the USSS “snipers” didn’t take the shot at the perp prior to the perp taking his shot. It’s also the same reason that there was no police or SS presence on that rooftop as well as on the water tower where an aerial view of most of the venue was available.
Government hit job that failed. They tried to JFK our DJT and failed. Prove me wrong.
Several dozen “things went wrong” that day at the Butler, PA, Trump rally. This was clearly a planned hit by elements in our own gov’t.
A dumptruck with the bed up driving under the fiber optic lines from a Comcast head end will tear them right off the poles and not only knock out Comcast internet customers, but also many cellular towers too because Comcast leases fiber to all of the cellular carriers (including Verizon).
This happened in Manassas, Virginia about 2 weeks ago and my internet was down for almost 12 hours as they repaired the damage. I live about 8 miles from Manassas. Not only that, but texts and calls were having trouble going through and data was not working at all on my Tmobile phone.
Who f’ing cares. Someone could have simply walked to the stage and personally told the SS well before the shooting. This is not about incompetence and stupidity, that’s a ruse. Security was lax on purpose.
“SS must surely have secure, reliable means of communications during operations.”
And they most certainly do as you can observe when they are all around the protectee with that curled cord going to their ear with a wrist microphone. Those Motorola radios cost multiple thousands of $$$$ each with encryption technology. Pleading a comms failure shows a systemic collapse of leadership & planning with a really strong odor of conspiracy, IMO.
They turned off their cell phones because they didn’t want the ringing to distract the assassin
Internet cell service was down. How convenient. And why the hell wee they using cell phones?????? Have they forgotten about VHF radios? Hell, I have one of those at work. They are still obtainable and haven\t been outlawed yet.

Very cool mobile towers they would still need to be on Firstnet or similar to keep the rabble from overwhelming the mobile tower as well. Tens of thousands will always be to much for a local tower even augmented. Every year twice a year in Addison 100,000+ people pack into Addison circle a one square mile area for Oktoberfest and then again for Kaboom town July 3rd. Cell networks just die they bring portable towers and mini towers on streetlamp sized poles same same you might get a text an hour after it is sent cells forget about it. We use FMRS/GPRS radios or 2 meter and 70cm handhelds to coordinate our crews rally points. 100mw green astronomy grade laser pointers work great at night for Morse code sky beacons you can see them from ten miles on a clear night pointed straight up. Flash RP in code. It’s beyond the pale that SS didn’t have a unified bridge radio freq for watch commanders.
“The secret service had a SEPARATE COMMAND CENTER”
I heard Rowe say that at the press conference. Having two Command Centers ... doesn’t that remove the legitimacy of the term, “Command Center”? There’s only ever ONE command center, right?
I'm stunned 'journalists' at the Washington Post would tell the truth rather than just ignore it. Maybe they didn't get their talking points on time.
