I don’t think they are sub-human.
Just very mentally ill.
You need to read the book. It does not say they are subhuman. You accepted the labeling of the writer. It says they are “unhuman” in that they are haters of humanity and that control, killing, and subjugation of humanity is their goal.
The book is well supported.
