Skydiving is one of the best ways to safely get a memorable shot of adrenaline when done correctly (memorable as in "lifetime").
I would urge you to find a jump school that will train you the "old-fashioned" way: a few hours of ground school and after 3-5 static line jumps you would be qualified to do a "clear and pull" jump. Static line jumps are very mechanical, there is little the Jumper can do to screw it up.
I would "urge" you because there will come a time when you wish you had jumped, and it will not be practical.
(I had a 30' "round" reserve because I was a fit 220+ lbs.)
You could also do an Accelerated Free Fall Training. 2 day ground school. First jump solo at. 12,500’. You exit plane behind a jump master. Another one follows you. They both stay close til you open your shoot. They are supposed to help if problem occurs. You will have reserve set to deploy at 2500’ if things don’t go well.
I jumped a few years. It is pretty fun.
If you want a rush, strap yourself to a bull.
