Looks like the plane was turning for approach.
I can't remember the term for it. Though if you make to hard of a turn the plane can go into an uncontrolled spin exactly like what happened here

What I posted on that thread:That metmom is a flat spin, stall followed by improper recovery means straight down, not enough altitude or obviously training to get out of it.

Power is meaningless if AC attitude is wrong. Wind over wing produces lift. The prop on one side works but there is no forward airspeed. Seems it came down from 17k like that. Long way ro go when you know you are screwed @ the bottom.
