Looks like the plane was turning for approach.
I can't remember the term for it. Though if you make to hard of a turn the plane can go into an uncontrolled spin exactly like what happened here

yes. That pilot was a very bad pilot. Notice his other approaches are similar he loved to take the plane to it's limits on every approach. (looking at his other approach's)

Approach turn stall. That usually results in an inverted position quite snappily. And at pattern altitude a quick death since the flight will be short. That was a flat spin.
