I haven’t seen the interview, but is that a transcript of Musk’s conversation with President Trump on Tuesday?
I’ve read too that Musk wants to end the world’s dependence on oil and gas to power our machinery. I don’t think that necessarily makes him a communist. He named his vehicle the Tesla and may have done that because he knows that Nicola Tesla had theorized that electricity could be made from water vapor and even humidity in the air. If this is true, Musk’s views on alternatives to oil and gas would not be hair-on-fire problematic.
No but his companies are the biggest private contractor for government aka the state, which fits the definition of corporatism. Corporatism is the merger of state and corporate power.
Musk views on oil and gas are the typical democrat climate change “.....his goal is some future event that he can’t summarize because he is basing things on a political ideology not supportive facts for oil and gas.” While at the same time receiving subsidies for Tesla and carbon credits to sell. His companies are the classic example of corporatism. Tesla would not be a viable company without help from government via the subsidies and carbon credits or at a minimum would be a niche player with a significantly smaller market value.
