I tried one in my neck of the woods (not Spain). Maybe it’s because I’m an old guy, but it was like programming a rocket to go to Jupiter.

I know you’re a capable guy so I think you maybe just got a little frustrated.

The McDonald’s kiosk interface is considered in the industry to be highly successful and efficient. The one criticism I have is that the vertical aspect is too large — you end up having to scan up and down to different parts of the display, straining your neck on the process. And I imagine that bifocal users have an extra challenge, but OTOH I have seen some very elderly people using the kiosks.

Taco Bell has several touchscreen locations in my area. I love them. I figure it's one less person to screw up my order.
