The human liver can regenerate itself-to a point. I know scientists are trying to figure out how that works, so it can replicate itself. I know there is a lizard that can grow a new tail.

It would be wonderful if we humans could grow a new limb, or a new organ if needed.

It is a feature of many animals. Crustaceans (crabs, shrimp, etc.) can grow new claws. Octopus can grow a new arm, lots of lizards can grow new tails.

If scientists can find the genetic key to this trait, humans might benefit..................
