Senator Elizabeth Warren tells CNN’s Jake Tapper that, if elected President, Kamala Harris will secure a so-called “pathway to citizenship” for millions of illegal aliens who have infiltrated the United States. This comes amid a massive surge in illegal immigration under the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris government.In March 2021, Biden appointed Harris to address the “root causes” of the southern border crisis, resulting in her being dubbed the government’s “border czar.” Harris and her allies are attempting to distance her from this responsibility, given the catastrophe that has unfolded at the frontier since then.

The Republicans should have Harris either embracing this unpopular thing or distancing herself from Warren. They don’t appear to really be pursuing it.

Why? These people, most of whom have no feeling of allegiance to the United States, would not bring much if anything to the table as far as skills or education, and would form a permanent underclass, cutting into the African American and Hispanic American demographics, not necessarily to drive them upward, but to compound the poverty already plaguing these communities.

The “native-grown” leftists of the “liberal-progressive” persuasion themselves have no allegiance to the United States of America. Cloward-Piven on steroids. Overload the system, and Socialism is the only answer they have?

Don’t bet on this. An Act of Congress was passed authorizing the President to grant honorary citizenship by proclamation. What rights and privileges honorary citizenship bestows, if any, is unclear. According to State Department documents, it does not grant eligibility for United States passports. However, only eight people have ever been given this honor. Sir Winston Churchill, Lafayette, and Mother Teresa are examples. The action does not offer the nominee any special privileges, like voting, but the liberals have tried to do things around the law before.
