Somewhere around here on the 13th or 14th, I'd mentioned that the day before the shooting I'd been looking at the beginning of the Torah, specifically at God's first words that we know about:
LET THERE BE LIGHT
(Like that, in all caps)
And that I had put them all together:
LETTHEREBELIGHT
At which point this jumped out:
LET THE REBEL IGHT
But also that this wasn't Wheel of Fortune, so I couldn't just add the "missing" F.
Then the next day was that very scene with it's "rebel" message of perseverance: "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT"
At which point I had to marvel that at this game-changing moment of victory, in came not one, but three Fs.
Winning!
But also that this wasn't Wheel of Fortune...
Then again, the Torah -- which is like a big wheel read in a circle -- literally 'begins' with a big bet.
