We’ve had this conversation before and I stand by it.
There are people on Free Republic who are pro-Russian. They think Putin is cool and a first class world leader.
They get a Chris Matthews-style thrill up their leg while thinking about him. They believe America is bad and Putin is good. They believe America is an aggressor and all the problems in the world are our fault.
They like Putin and by legitimate default admire Iran, Venezuela and China because hose countries all have dictatorial strongmen running that country too.
They claim to be America Firsters and isolationists - but truth be told, their allegiance is to Russia and their weird thrill about Putin. In short, they (yourself included) are their heirs to the “Blame Anerica First” disease that has infected the United States for the last 75 years.
I have no such love towards Zelensky and Ukraine - definitely not the kind of warped love you have towards Putin and Russia. I am motivated more by seeing Russia pay for what they have done in the past, both monetarily and in blood.

I know about a dozen BAF* boys here on Free Republic. They aren’t that many, but they have the time to be here on the forums all day long, and they post a lot.
One thing is certain. Russia is officially part of the Iran-Russia-North Korea Alliance (secretly supported by Communist China). Any one who support any of these countries is proactively working for weakening America as a strong independent nation. The work against American nationalism. But they work FOR the Alliance’s nationalists goals... The Iran-Russia-North Korea Alliance is attacking our own allies : Israel and Ukraine. We must continue to resist aggression.
