Jennifer Aniston has criticised Donald Trump’s vice-presidential candidate, JD Vance, for resurfaced comments calling Democrats a "bunch of childless cat ladies with miserable lives".
The Friends actress, 55, posted a 2021 interview with Mr Vance that has been widely shared since his selection as Mr Trump's running mate for November's presidential election.
"I truly can’t believe that this is coming from a potential VP of the United States," she wrote on Instagram. "All I can say is… Mr Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day." Mr Vance has a two-year-old daughter, and two sons. "I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option," Ms Aniston wrote.
"Because you are trying to take that away from her, too." 'Country miserable'
The actress has previously spoken openly about her struggles while trying to have children through in-vitro fertilisation (IVF).
Last month, Mr Vance voted to block Democrat-proposed legislation to guarantee access to IVF nationwide. In the clip, Mr Vance criticised Vice-President Kamala Harris because she has no biological children.
Ms Harris is stepmother to her husband Doug Emhoff’s two children.
But Mr Vance told former Fox News host Tucker Carlson the US was run by "a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they've made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too".
"Look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez], the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children," he said. "How does it make any sense we've turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?"

Trump is known for shooting himself in the foot. Maybe he thinks he is the anointed one, being 1/4 inch from death. Near death experience and bad VP choices does not win you elections.
I don’t want to get disappointed again like in 2020. I say if you got someone weighing down the ticket “YOU ARE FIRED”
They left out that there are photos of both of them on the Internet dressed in garb of Eastern religions.
Now we just need to hear from Ayssa Milano and then we’ll have clear direction.
My quick read of her wikipedia entry said she didn't want to have children with Brad Pitt. She was in her 20s.
My first thought was "There was your opportunity, and for some reason you decided to blow it."
While there might be better men out there than Brad Pitt, I don't see how most women wouldn't consider him at or near the very top of desirable mates.
I feel sorry for her. I feel that children provide a sense of purpose and a source of love, and I am sorry she missed it.
For many people it is not so easy to have children, and I hope she didn't miss out simply because she dilly dallied and missed her opportunity.

Guys, the childless cat ladies weren’t going to vote for Trump anyway.
Maybe this will move the Overton window to a place where people can see that our rulers have no skin in the game. Either they are so filthy rich they aren’t affected by the destruction of the country or they have no children and no hope for future generations or they have an escape hatch country in the Middle East to flee to when everything falls apart here.

They married in 2000 when she was 31. He didn’t leave her because she couldn’t or wouldn’t get pregnant. In interviews, she said she always wanted to have children, and she had treatments to try to become pregnant. He left because he fell for Jolie.

The problem is, when did Vance make the cat lady statement?
JD Vance, first made the controversial cat lady comment speaking to Tucker Carlson on Fox in July 2021.
How many cats are to many? I’d say 3 but that’s just me.
She is proof one doesn’t need a bunch of cats in order to be craZy.
I understand he made it in his book a few years back. The book should have been vetted for any damaging content. At the very least they should have asked Vance how he would handle being grilled about this passage.
I have a cat lady in my family, but she is kind to the rest of us and we don’t think she deserves to be mocked for her choices.
