It’s hard to watch.
I checked Reddit for some reactions. They are giddy with delight, they say he has demonstrated real statesmanship and self-sacrifice in stepping aside “for the good of the country” and he is “stealing Trump’s thunder.”
It’s hard to map his long list of self-described accomplishments with the world I have to deal with each day.
Agree.
The only mitigating factor for me is the thought that the patriots are in control and this is going to boomerang back on the DS.
Although I have moments of doubt, most of the time I suspect the patriots are fully in control of Joetato. I picture them plotting what idiotic thing he will do or say next. Just when they need him to do the right thing, he does. Then he goes back to full idiot mode. (What makes a good movie? Good actors.)
