I noticed early on that a few of the folks behind Trump did seem to glance to their right. It seems to me that the first two shots must have been the ones that wounded the guys down front and to Trump’s right. The guy who was closest to the shooter swears he hear five quick shots and that squares with audio at the time. Trump himself said he heard shots and a bullet whiz by.
It seems to me that the crowd both saw a muzzle flash and heard the report of the early shots. (223 rounds in a short barrel puts out a heckuva muzzle flash even with a basic flash hider in place. This is a thing I’ve tested dozens of times to find what is effective and I actually manufacture a very effective flash hider, which this dumbass didn’t have.) Somebody oughta ask ‘em?
I too noticed the glances to the right, especially in the zoomed in version. But in the wider view it seems to me they are glancing towards the same jumbotron the DJT was referencing when the shooting started.. JMHO...
