Paul Harvey was my main news dude for about three decades. 60’s, 70’s 80’s. He started tapering in the early 90’s and I always thot Limbaugh got a lot of his style from Harvey. In my school years morning classes got out at 11:50. I used to gun my Harley across campus and town to get the radio on before high noon. That 10 minute slot was “don’t screw with me” time. He did the “-—if I were the devil” shtick at least once a year.
