Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas announced the appointment of a Trump-hating Democrat to an independent review panel tasked with investigating the government over the July 13 assassination attempt on President Trump.

The review was ordered by Joe Biden last week. Mayorkas named four members to the panel. Two were officials in Republican George W. Bush’s administration. One was a former police chief in Democrat-run Prince George’s County, Maryland and the fourth is former Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano (D) who served as Barack Obama’s first Homeland Security secretary.

Weird that Mayorkas picked that crew when Liz Cheney and the rest of the “J6 Commmittee” is readily available for another “independent” investigation . . .

Their overreach has diminished confidence in established institutions. She was a cofounder of the CEP, and from its wikipedia page:

The DHS is listed as a top partner on its website (https://www.counterextremism.com/government-partnerships), which I should think would disqualify her from an “independent review”?

I suspect that the ‘investigation’ and those involved were part of the deal for Jill and Joe to go quietly. The democrats want to control the investigation and evidence to prevent the truth from becoming public and history remembering that Jill and Joe tried to execute their political rival with a little help from the deep state.
