Some people simply cannot have opinions unless they are expressed in the most vulgar and anti-social way.

I have held for years that the anonymity provided by social media has been a major contributor to the slide of our society in the slime. I am not sure how legislation could be crafted so that it allowed the discovery of actual names of the pseudonyms used on social media. I we knew that we had to back up our social commentary with our reputations (and possibly with our fists), many of our societal ills would improve immensely.

I believe that you are quite correct about what is called Social Media. Add to its anonymity that it is instantaneous and permanent - a recipe for escalation. Additionally, it can easily be fraudulent. Censorship, false-identity and infiltration make it a beloved tool of governments like China’s.

Americans who can’t wait to worship Mao will be shown to be both stupid and dead.
