Han’s Worst Hits of the 70’s today visits one of the bigger stars of that decade-Rod Stewart. Rod Stewart has always been a frustrating artist to me. Rod was great back with The Faces and in his early solo career but in the mid-70’s he certainly showed signs at least of wavering towards being more interested in being famous than great. He jumped the shark with Do Ya Think I’m Sexy

Well, there’s always Maggie May, Mandolin Wind, and Every Picture Tells a Story!
Disco Rod.
Never ever liked Rod Stewart in the least. Rumor has it he plugged his Coke to keep from snorting it and hurting his voice.
Sounds about right to me.
Well, Tonight’s the Night was actually even more insipid, sugary, twinkie and GagMe, so there is that…
America’s “A horse with no name”
How about “Kung Fu Fighting”, lol?
In my opine almost anything by David Bowie is worse.
Sad to see how far he fell. Early on, not many better and The Faces were a heck of a band. Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Ronnie Lane, Ian MacLagan, Kenny Jones.
‘Maybe I’m Amazed’, Stewart and The Faces covering McCartney.

I hated that Rod Stewart song.
Wiki..."that was a real heartfelt song about my kids. I suddenly realized I'd missed a good five years of Sean and Kimberly's life because I was so busy touring all the time. With these kids now I don't make that mistake -- I take them on tour with me, so I can watch them grow up. So that's another favorite. Unfortunately, it wasn't a big hit in England, but it's like a national anthem here [America]."Wow, that's the first I'd heard of Stewart contacting Dylan and the men agreeing to share Stewart's royalties. That was a real stand-up thing to do. There are so many crooks in the music industry...they plagiarize almost as much as Joe Biden. The structure of the lyrics in this song was similar enough to a Bob Dylan song of the same title that, after its completion, the song was then sent to Dylan, asking whether he had a problem with it. The two men agreed to participate in the ownership of the song and share Stewart's royalties.
Everytime I hear this song I picture him fellating his band.
Ooh La La
That’s awful even for Rod Stewart. :-)
