We still have an Astro van. It is an incredibly versatile vehicle. With around 250,000 miles... it is still going strong. I am not sure that the current batch of eco-turbo 4 cylinder powered cars and trucks are going to fare as well, and the expensive hybrids and electric vehicles are basically disposable and lose nearly all of their value after about 10 years.
Ours was a ‘custom’ with captains chairs and stereo and TV system. It was very comfortable on long trips. And the gas mileage was pretty good too, 22-25 mpg on highway................
