And they knew the entire time that Sandy Berger did it...

Not Sandy Berger, it was Richard Armitage, who was the Deputy Secretary of State at the time, who disclosed Valerie Plame's identity.

"I insist that The State prove its case before I will deprive my fellow citizens of life, liberty, or property."

If an officer testified that he lied to arrest a cartel member, by your own words, he is a liar so you would have to vote not guilty.

"And I hold public servants to the highest standards."

Well, we can be friends then. No conviction of people I arrested involved interrogational trickery.

"You seem to have a problem with that. You damn yourself with your own words."

Not at all. I haven't made any statement to you that was deceptive.

ROFL!!!!

See, that's the problem. You've admitted that you lie to the public for your own benefit. Therefore, your assertion above is untrustworthy. By admitting to being a liar, you've impeached your own testimony on any topic. For all I know, your cute little tales of using lies to resolve petty crimes are 100% fiction.

This isn't personal: your entire profession is untrustworthy and will be as long as lying to We the People, whom you are supposed to serve, is permitted and rewarded.

CLEAN UP YOUR ACT.

I don’t believe in Special Rights for anyone, I don’t care who they are what they do. If it’s a Good Law, it should apply to ALL without exception.

That video should be watched once a year by everyone.

If they talk to you, you are a suspect.

So shut up.

The police cry about how they are "so busy" but way to often you see the police trying to create crime because they are bored or to make money.

Be polite and be silent.

As a kid (12 years old?) we were tossing small crab apples at a friend’s house to tease him. Probably 5 of us in the early evening.

Later that evening the cops showed up at my house. With my parents standing there they said a window was broken and that the other boys said they saw me pick up a rock instead of crab apples. I told them that wasn’t true, etc. They left saying that they would need to do more investigation.

Turns out no windows were broken, the cops told all five of us boys the same thing. Granted, in hindsight they were just trying to put some fear in us to straighten us kids up, but I’m sure they would do the same on more serious things.

Hmm - I wonder if they had told my parents ahead of time (or at least afterwards) what was going on. I don’t recall their reaction.

“ If they talk to you, you are a suspect.”

Not really. If I just witnessed some guy hold up a liquor store I am more than happy to tell the cops what I saw.

Getting property returned to its rightful owners is somehow a personal benefit to me. You're being ridiculous now.

"For all I know, your cute little tales of using lies to resolve petty crimes are 100% fiction."

I knew that eventually you would post something like that. Since that's what you believe, then there is no need to post any more to each other, correct?

"your entire profession is untrustworthy and will be as long as lying to We the People, whom you are supposed to serve, is permitted and rewarded."

You are again being ridiculous as you broad brush many decent people as being untrustworthy. In the service of "we the people" I tricked thieves into returning stolen money or property to their rightful owners. The victims trusted me and were grateful for what I did. You disapprove though. So be it. We're done here. You can have the last word.

That works until they decide you were the lookout or something like that.

I stand by what I said.
