That's not I thought summer's reputation was. I thought summer's reputation was for warm weather and less rain.
Of course, I live in the north, and it's different in the south where hurricanes typically roll through in the summer and in desert areas where much of the rain comes in a few heavy rains that may occur at any time of the year. But summers in my area and in much of the country are easily the driest time of the year, by far.

Yeah, over here (SE WA) we can go the entire summer with no rain. But a little thunderstorm spoiled that run yesterday. It was vestigial monsoon all the way from western Gulf of Mexico.
