Ukraine's security services launched a raid on a key Russian base which they claimed was destroyed in the fighting.

The SBU released a video which it said showed airborne and waterborne drones attacking the target, followed by large explosions.

Ukrainian broadcaster Suspline said of the video: "Last night, SBU drones hit the Russian coast guard base on Lake Donuzlav in occupied Crimea, law enforcement sources told Sospilny.

"As a result of the combined attack of sea and air drones, the following were damaged and disabled: the headquarters with a control post, a warehouse of ammunition and equipment, an electrical substation, technical facilities and firing positions.

"The video was provided to the Public by a source in the Security Service."

The coordinated attack was conducted as a joint operation between the SBU and the Ukrainian Navy.

Russian forces failed to defend the base from the droning onslaught as Vladimir Putin's Navy was reportedly conducting exercises around Lake Donuzlav.

I am sure that you are a big fan of the blocking brigades in the rear that encourage old men and boys not to retreat by killing them.

Pure scum.

Trump dissuaded Putin from invading neighboring states because his leadership and foreign policies promoted deterrence and peace through strength. Putin saw in Trump a strong and decisive president who was prepared to use all tools of American power—peaceful and coercive—to defend U.S. interests. Similar to other U.S. adversaries, Putin also viewed Trump as unpredictable and unconventional. In light of Trump’s threat to destroy North Korea if it threatened U.S. allies in the Asia-Pacific, Trump’s summits with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, moving the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, bombing Syria for using chemical weapons on civilians, dropping America’s largest bunker buster bomb on an ISIS redoubt in Afghanistan, imposing strong economic sanctions on China while keeping dialogue open with Beijing, Putin could not be sure how Trump would respond to Russian belligerence. This unpredictability played an important role during the Trump presidency in impeding hostile actions by U.S. adversaries.

Trump also had a Russia policy that demonstrated American strength. For example, in 2018, after the Russian mercenary Wagner Group advanced on U.S. bases in Syria, they were met with immediate and decisive action when President Trump authorized punitive airstrikes against them. Those airstrikes set back Russia’s operations and influence in the region. Russia never retaliated against the United States over that attack—which reportedly killed hundreds of Russian mercenaries—likely because Putin did not know how Trump would respond.

Yeah, and he wasn't trying to make Ukraine part of NATO to perpeturate and expand the NATO civilian deepstate bureaucracy that needs good wars to provide their justification for expanding like the cancer that all you deepstate neocon warmongers represent.

My read on a Trump win and what it means in Ukraine:

He is money focused. There will be no more serious US aid, and he will likely try to intercept any already appropriated.

He will not urge Europe to shut off their own aid, provided it does not prevent Europe from achieving their 2% GDP defense requirement under NATO rules.

He will propose negotiations immediately, with it clear there will be no more money. He will not demand Zelensky disappear. He will be willing to “address Russia’s security concerns”.

He will make it clear that US oil companies who would like to be involved developing Russian oil fields will not be prevented from doing so by any sanctions, but they will get no favored treatment vs Rosneft or Lukoil — or Sinopec.

He will make clear that if China is sending electronic items to Russia’s military he will oppose that ONLY if it means those items are in short supply and cannot come to the US. If the US suffers scarcity of those items, he will not accept Russia having priority.

He will declassify any and all information about the Nordstream event.
