Was there a muzzle flash from the counter-snipers on the roof behind Trump?
I don’t know much about guns and rifles.
Yes, I remember that being reported. Heck, Adam Schiff can lie like crazy to the American public and it’s fine because Congress-critters have immunity.
We’re supposed to have FISA courts to make sure that intel people have to have good reasons for at least the searches they do. That’s supposed to hold them accountable without exposing info that would compromise their ability to catch the really bad people, we’re told. But we’ve seen that they lied to the FISA court to waste their time on people they already knew were NOT “really bad people”. And nothing happened to them.
When people or pollers (yeah, I realize they’re not supposed to be mutually exclusive. lol) ask me what my top issue is, for the last 14 years it has been the lawlessness of our own government. Until we get a handle on that, our foreign enemies need not bother destroying us since our domestic ones in our government offices are already doing a fine job of it.
Is there any way to know for sure when something is a digital artifact?
I don’t know enough either, I gave it a looksee and didn’t see anything immediately from counter-snipers, but they’re also in broad daylight, shaky video. The water tower is within shadows, pretty sure you’d see something. But, I’m telling you, it’s a digital artifact. I’d bet a steak on it.
Yeah, find the original source video, play around with color controls, brighten and contrast, you’ll end up seeing blobs—those blob areas were less uniform when the CCD camera picked them up, pixels get tossed in lossy compression, that’s how video compression works—by removing mostly redundant information.
Now, take that original video, recreate the process of crop and zoom, then reencode (probably with web quality params.) You should be able to tell things got a lot more uniform and/or distorted. Again, loss of information during compression.
It’s like a photocopy of a photocopy. Each iteration, progressively worse.
The whole thing is a convoluted mess. It’s a terrible thing when we don’t have an investigatory body we can trust to tell us the truth.
With all the video that was taken, hopefully there are other videos that could clarify some of the questions at least.
