I just saw a cartoon with two cavemen. The one is doing the cave drawings on the wall. The other one is saying “Oh great - there goes our security deposit!”
Here’s my theory on ‘cave art’:
It’s not ‘art’.
Who has time to decorate the inside of the cave?
The cave WOMEN.
These so-called cave art drawings are actually paleolithic “SHOPPING LISTS”.
They are INSTRUCTIONS to the CAVE MEN on what to bring home for dinner.
And some even have instructions on HOW to do it....................
