And where, exactly, are we? Without knowing the next 5 years, it’s hard to say. We’ve had 4 years of DJT, 4 years of a usurping coup, with disatrous economic consequences, and an unfettered, even facilitated, invasion of our country. Our candidate was subject to an assassination attempt last weekend, with perhaps more to come, and we’re faced with a rematch election in a little over 100 days. Half of the electorate will tell you that Joe Biden has a wonderful economy going, and that he saved democracy from DJT in 2020, and will do it again, in November. You tell them he stole 2020, and they’ll cite for you the number of court decisions that refute you. They’ll tell you that DJT is a megalomaniacal criminal...34 felony convictions...that he’ll start WW 3, and that his followers are Fascists. And your response is...what? You’ll shoot them? I don’t think you’ll change many minds, that way. Where we are, is waiting to see how the next 6 months play out. Do we have an election? Between what two candidates? Who sits in the Oval Office come January 21? Does anyone accept the results? Are America’s cities on fire?
You may yet get to go all American Revolution on someone. Just realize that the time is not yet at hand, and the outcome is unknown.
